Bezalip is a medicine manufactured by the French company Cenexi which belongs to a class of medicines called fibrates. Bezalip contains the fibrate drug bezafibrate and is used medically to lower lipid levels in the blood. By lowering lipid levels Bezalip is an effective treatment for the condition hyperlipidaemia and is sometimes used as part of a medical strategy to lower LDL cholesterol levels as cholesterols are also lipids.
Bezalip's ability to lower lipid levels is also correlated with its ability to improve glucose tolerance. This has seen Bezalip used sometimes by bodybuilders and other athletes seeking to avoid fat gain, in particular Bezalip along with other fibrates has sometimes been employed as part of a strategy where the individual has a "cheat" meal and by coingesting Bezalip is able to shift the body into depositing less of the calories as bodyfat.
Bezalip has extensive research supporting its ability to improve markers of hyperlipidaemia such as reducing LDL and increasing HDL cholesterol levels. Furthermore, Bezalip has been shown to assist patients with insulin resistance and so help delay progression into diabetes.
Bezalip is indicated for the treatment of only adults, of both sexes with its primary clinical uses being to treat excessive levels of blood fats including high levels of LDL cholesterol. In addition, there are some instances where its use would be contraindicated such as those with liver disease of gall bladder disease to name a couple.
Bezalip is typically consumed with water after a meal but as always you should take Bezalip as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Always refer to product literature.
